When the biologist sees a spheroid, a viral particle, a neuromuscular junction etc., our algorithm sees an object defined in space. From the images acquired from this kind of samples, the image processing can be used to detect and count, to analyse the morphology, or evaluate a parameter distribution . When the biologist sees a heart, a muscle, an adipocyte or any organ, our algorithm sees a defined volume. From the images acquired from this kind of samples, image processing can be used to calculate volume, to study volume variation (atrophy or hypertrophy study for example), or analyze diffusion . From the images acquired from this kind of samples, image processing can be used to segment these layers, or to study the thickness and homogeneity for instance.
